How to Get Started with Qai — Your AI Co-Pilot for Multichannel Selling
Before you can chat with Qai, two things need to happen: your platforms must be connected, and your products must be mapped. Here's exactly how to do it.
Summary: Qai is Qallix's AI assistant built to cut through multichannel complexity — but it works because it has context: your live inventory, channel performance, and orders. This guide walks you through the two setup steps every seller needs to complete before Qai can start delivering answers.
What is Qai?
If you sell across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop — or all three — you already know the juggling act. Different dashboards, different SKU codes for the same physical product, different order flows. Qai is Qallix's AI assistant built to cut through that complexity.
But Qai isn't magic on its own. It works because it has context: it knows your live inventory, your channel performance, your orders. For it to have that context, you need to complete two setup steps first. Think of it like onboarding a new team member — you need to give them access and show them the product catalogue before they can do their job.
Step 1 — Connect Your Sales Platforms
The first thing to do inside your Qallix console is link every marketplace where you sell. Qai can only see data from platforms that have been authorised. Head to Qallix Integrations page and connect the platforms relevant to your business.

How to connect each platform
Go to the Qallix Integrations page
From your Qallix dashboard sidebar, navigate to the Integrations page.
Click "Add Integration" and choose your platform
Select the marketplace you want to add — Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, or another supported channel.
Authorise via the platform's Seller Centre
You'll be redirected to the platform's login. Sign in and grant Qallix the necessary permissions. This is a standard OAuth flow — Qallix never stores your password.
Confirm the integration is live
Once authorised, the integration card will show a green "Active" status. Your orders, inventory, and listings will begin syncing within a few minutes.
Repeat for each additional platform
If you sell on multiple channels, add each one. Qai's intelligence grows with every channel you connect — the more data it has, the better its answers.
Important
Make sure you connect all the platforms you actively sell on before moving to product mapping. If a platform is added later, you'll need to re-map any products sold there.
Step 2 — Create & Map Your Master Products
Here's the core concept: the same physical product — say, a Blue Wireless Earbuds 3-pack — may have a completely different SKU code on each marketplace. Shopee might call it BWE-3PK-SHP, Lazada BWE3-LZD-BLU, and TikTok TT-BWE-BLUE-3. They're all the same thing.
A Master Product is your single source of truth inside Qallix. It represents the real product, and all the platform-specific SKUs are mapped to it. Once this mapping exists, Qai can answer questions like "How is my earbuds product performing across all channels?" rather than needing to know each individual SKU.
Example mapping
| Master Product | Platform | Platform SKU |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Wireless Earbuds 3-Pack | Shopee | BWE-3PK-SHP |
| Lazada | BWE3-LZD-BLU | |
| TikTok Shop | TT-BWE-BLUE-3 | |
| USB-C Fast Charger 65W | Shopee | CHG-65W-SHP-01 |
| Lazada | FCHG65-LZ |
How to create and map a master product
Go to Products → Master Products
In the main navigation, find the Products section and select Master Products. This is your unified product catalogue inside Qallix.
Click the "+ Create" button
Give the product a clear internal name — this is what Qai will use when referring to it. Add a category, description, and any attributes relevant to your business.
Link platform listings to this master product
Under the "Mapping SKU" section, search for and select the matching listings from each connected platform. Qallix will show you your Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok listings by name — simply match the ones that represent the same physical product.
Confirm SKU mapping
Review that each platform's SKU is correctly linked. If a listing has multiple variants (e.g. colour or size), map each variant to its corresponding master variant.
Save and repeat for all products
Work through your entire catalogue. Once a product is mapped, it becomes fully visible to Qai. Unmapped products won't appear in Qai conversations.
Pro Tip
Use Qallix's bulk import feature if you have a large catalogue. You can upload a CSV with your master product names and the corresponding platform SKUs, and the system will auto-map them where names match.
Step 3 — Start Chatting with Qai
Once your platforms are connected and your products are mapped, Qai is ready to work. Open the Qai chat panel by clicking the Qai icon in the navbar, next to the notification bell. You'll see it's powered by ChatGPT under the hood, but Qai has been given full context of your store — so it's far more useful than a generic AI assistant.
Here's a taste of the kinds of questions you can now ask:
Remember
Qai can only discuss products that have been mapped as Master Products. If you ask about a listing that hasn't been mapped yet, Qai will let you know and prompt you to complete the mapping first.
Tips for Getting the Best Out of Qai
Map every product before launching campaigns. Running a flash sale across channels? Make sure all the products involved are mapped so Qai can report on performance holistically — not just channel by channel.
Use clear master product names. Qai references products by their master name in conversation. Vague names like "Product A" or "Variant 03" make it harder to interpret Qai's answers at a glance.
Keep your channel connections healthy. If a platform's authorisation expires, Qai won't have live data from it. Check the Connected Channels page regularly and re-authenticate if you see a warning.
Ask specific questions. Qai responds much better to "What are my top 5 products by revenue on Lazada this week?" than "How am I doing?" The more context you give, the more actionable the answer.
Follow up and drill down. Qai maintains context within a conversation. If it gives you a summary, ask it to break down the numbers further — "Which variant is driving that?" or "Compare it to last month."
You're two steps away from a smarter operation.
Connecting your platforms and mapping your master products takes under an hour for most sellers — and it unlocks a fundamentally different way of running your multichannel business. Once the groundwork is done, Qai becomes the fastest way to get answers, spot opportunities, and stay on top of issues across every channel.
